What is Re-Ordering
Re-ordering allows us to turn early success of a product into sustained performance. By reacting quickly to strong sellers, we avoid out-of-stocks, improve sell-through, and reduce the need for markdowns later.
Re-ordering can be applied to a seasonal item we want to capitalise on as well as core carryover products we always want to be in stock of. Re-ordering is about making smart bets, not big guesses - maintaining availability of these key products drives both top-line revenue and gross margin.
Effective re-ordering requires a full picture: factoring in past sales, any stockout gaps, current inventory, and what's already on order - all by size - to ensure youโre re-ordering the perfect amount.

FAQ ๐
1. Can I analyze sales performance for the current week?
Currently, the tool only calculates based on the last completed week. The ability to calculate data on partial week or daily level is a feature request that is on our long-term product roadmap.
2. Why does the True rate of sale after returns % in Reorder not match Rollups?
This is because the Reorder Tool uses an average/product level return rate for all sizes. Whereas the Rollups reflects the size level return rate in the true rate of sale.
Size | Return Rate |
S | 3% |
M | 7% |
L | 1% |
Average | 3.6% |
