What sort of data can I add to Plan View?

Plan View can house a variety of information such as:

  • Product code - we recommend setting this up in the format of Style Colour Code e.g. 12345-GREEN.

  • Delivery date - traditionally our users use this for intake delivery date, however, you may also use this to track into-store date or a launch date depending on your use cases. Alternatively, you can set up additional date fields following these steps.

  • Product hierarchies & attributes - colour or category etc. Please follow these steps to set up your hierarchies & attributes before loading your ranges.

  • Workflows - your critical paths. Please follow these steps to set up your workflows before loading your ranges.

  • Allocations - please follow these steps to set up your locations before loading your ranges.

  • Size Curves - please follow these steps to set up your size curves before loading your ranges.

  • Tech pack - you can attach any document against a product drop. Please note this feature is not available via Bulk Update.

How do I add data to Plan View?

There are 2 ways to add data and product drops to the Range Plan:

πŸ”¨ Manual Creation

1. Navigate to the Add Data button

2. Select Create a single product

3. Start filling out key information i.e. delivery date, product code & product name

Note: The app will not count a style as a "product count" until you added a unique product code to the drop.

You can also upload your images, drag & drop your photo by clicking on the image box or choose a placeholder sketch &manage your images by clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner.

4. Save your work and voila!

βš’οΈ Bulk Creation via Excel (xlsx / xls)

  1. Navigate to the Add Data button, click on Create multiple products from file

    • You can download a reference template in the first step by clicking on Templates

    • If you are building your upload template, make sure these required fields are present in your Excel file:

      • Product Code (can be dummy codes)

      • Delivery Date (can be dummy dates, this field is required if you are wanting to see drops allocated to the correct month)

      • Allocation (if applicable)

      • Size curve names (if applicable)

  2. Select your options to create:

    • Buy units by location

    • Buy units by size

    • Or click Next to skip

  3. Select your Excel file and click Next

    • If your file has multiple sheets, click on the Worksheet selection drop-down and select the sheet you are uploading.

  4. Match your headers in Excel to the corresponding fields and click on Create Products.

Note:

  • You may leave some fields blank if you don't wish to upload them at this time.

  • If you are uploading a Size Curve Name, make sure the Size Curve name matches what you have set up in Manage Size Curves in settings. Check out this article for more details.

  • If you are uploading an Allocation, make sure the Allocation name matches what you have set up in Manage Locations in settings.
