Unlock flexible product insights and hierarchies with Custom Fields

Overview

Hierarchy and attributes defined by source systems can often be difficult and time-consuming to change. To help you work more efficiently, Style Arcade now enables the creation of Custom Fields and Layouts, giving greater flexibility to;

  • Group products and analyse data from different perspectives

  • Create more flexible reporting and uncover key insights

  • Customise Product card Layouts to highlight the most relevant information


How to Access

  1. To begin creating a custom field, navigate to the Settings page > Custom fields

  2. Click Add and enter the name of your Custom field

3. Enter the options for your custom field, you can do this by typing directly into the modal or using copy/ paste from another file. Once all field options are entered, click Save.

4. The Custom Field will automatically appear in your Product card under Product Information, Rollups and in the filters across all pages.

5. To assign your Custom Field to products, navigate to the Products page and search or filter to the products you wish to update. Products can be updated individually or in bulk.

  • Individually: Click to open the Product detail card and go to Information.

  • Navigate to your custom field and select the option to assign to your product and click Save changes

  • Multiple products: use multi-select, search or filter to your product list and navigate to Actions > Edit product info

  • Update the Custom fields and click Save changes to attach the custom fields to your products.


Reporting on Custom Fields

Once Custom fields have been assigned to your products you can begin to report and analyse on these fields using the following methods;

  1. Filters on the Dashboard, Products or Rollups page allow you to filter to your Custom field type

  2. Edit your card metrics and select your custom field to enable visibility of this field on your product card.

  3. Report on your custom field in Rollups by adding it as a Row or Column Group by
