Everything you need to know about Rollups!

Rollups is a great tool for creating/building reports. You can build a variety of reports in Rollups depending on what you want to analyze (sales, stocks, and more).

When opening Rollups, the default view will display Month, Stock units, Stock @ cost, Sales units after returns, and Mix: Sales units after returns.

Date Range

To change the Date Date, Launch Date or Last Received from the Date Range filter at the top

Follow the steps below to apply your date range:

You can select dates from week, month, or quarter

Or use the custom option and apply:

Filters

Filters are used to narrow down the data you wish to analyze.

To use filters, please follow these steps:

  1. Simply click on Filter and Search or Select from the filter list

2. In this example, we will use Brand. Click on Brand, check the desired value(s), and click Done

Your report will then display the data for the selected Brand.

3. Click + to add another filter and X to remove

Rows and Columns

You may use Rows to add the filters that will display the values of what you are analyzing while Columns lets you add the metrics that you wish to analyze on your report. Rows will appear on the left of the grid and Columns will be on the right.

How to use the Group By function

This function is used to group the results according to your desired metric.

  1. Go to Group By, click on Select, and click on your desired metric for grouping. In this example, we will use Brand.

  2. Your report will then be grouped according to your selected metric.

    How to Add Mix/Calculation

The default view is set to have the Mix: Sales units after returns & Mix: Stock Units

    1. You can add a mix/ratio by clicking on this icon (fx) and selecting add mix or add calculation

    2. Select the metric you want to add a mix for, select row or column, and click Done. Follow the same steps to add a calculation.

How to Drag and Drop, Re-arrange Metrics

Re-arranging metrics is made easy with Style Arcade!

To re-arrange the metrics to display your desired view, simply click on the metric (column header), drag, and drop to the selected slot.

    1. In this example, we will use Stock Units in columns. We will drag and drop it before the Sales Units After Returns column.

    2. You can do the same for rows. We will use Category as an example and move it to the beginning of the columns.

Easy as that, you have re-arranged your metrics!

Copy Pasting Product Codes

  1. In Rollups, you also have the option to analyze/report on specific product/s. You can do this by copying the product code/s onto the search bar and click Enter. It will show you a report for that product specifically.

2. You may also copy and paste multiple product codes separated by a comma and no spaces onto the search bar for multiple products.

Using the Show All Function

Another great function that you can use in Rollups is seeing the products you are analyzing.

  1. To do so, simply hover over this icon and you'll see show all products:

2. Click on it. In this example, we will use the 'Ela Dean' brand.

3. It will then take you to the page with the products of that specific brand.

4. To go back to your report, click on Back.

Saved Views

You also have the option to save your report/view in Rollups as a template for future use.

Below are the steps to do so:

  1. Click on the 'star' icon on the upper right side and click on Save this view.

  2. Write a title and description if you so chose and click Save.

Note: Please see this page for more on Saved Views.

For converting Saved Views to Templates, please see this page.

FAQs:

  1. Why are Weeks Active & Weeks Age not available on Rollups?

Weeks Active - counts the weeks where the product has stock or sales (or has any sort of active activity).

Weeks Age - counts since its 1st date of launch (includes inactive periods).

These two metrics would make sense on a product level, however, it doesn't work against an aggregated level reporting e.g. Category in Rollups. Hence it is not currently available.

  2. Why are First 4 Weeks Sell Through % & First 6 Weeks Sell Through % not available on Rollups?

They are on the Products tab only at the moment because it's available on a product level and not on aggregated-level reporting as of yet.

  3. Why can't I add a mix for stock when I have a date metric in my report?

Adding mix for stock units isn't available when you add a date metric e.g. week/month/quarter to Rows. This is because stock units in Style Arcade are closing units, and do not add up to a total over time.
