  • To understand the process of adding data to the Range Plan, including its purpose and importance

  • A clear step-by-step instructions on how to add/upload drops in Range Plan with templates available

There are 2 ways to add data and product drops in Range Plan:

  • Manual creation

  • Bulk creation with Excel file

How to manually create a drop in Range Plan

1. Navigate to the Add Data button

2. Select Create single product

3. Start filling out key information i.e. delivery date, product code & product name

Note: Product code is the only required field when creating new product drops.

You can add delivery date and other attributes as the planning stage progresses. However we do recommend adding delivery date when possible so it is more searchable.

  • You can also upload your images, drag & drop your photo by clicking on the image box or choose a placeholder sketch &manage your images by clicking on the three dots on the upper right corner.

4. Save your work and voila!


How to bulk create drops in Range Plan via Excel (xlsx / xls)

1. Download our templates at the bottom of the page & insert your ranges

  • If you are building your own template, make sure these 3 required fields are in your Excel file:

    • Product Code (can be dummy codes)

    • Delivery Date (can be dummy dates)

    • Allocation (if applies)

2. Navigate to the Add Data button, click on Create multiple products from file

3. Select your options or skip by clicking 'Next' if none is applicable

4. Select your Excel file and click Next

  • If your file has multiple sheets, click on the Worksheet selection drop-down and select the sheet you are uploading.

5. Match your column headers to the corresponding fields and click on Create Products.

Note:

  • You may choose to leave other attributes blank by selecting (None) or Clear all fields if you don't wish to upload them at this time

  • If you are upload Size Curve Name, make sure the Size Curve name matches what you set up in Manage Size Curves in settings
